The DFL 8 is a circuit-breaker with residual current trip (CBR). It is used in large cranes on building sites, in hospitals with MRI scanners, or in complex supply systems with high shortcircuit current in purpose-built buildings and industrial facilities. This specialist offers residual current protection up to a rated current of 250 A. The circuit-breakers with residual current protection are compact devices with an integrated auxiliary switch and terminals for large wire crosssections of up to 185 mm2. They have a high shortcircuit switching capacity and an adjustable response delay. The thresholds for instantaneous and short-time delayed overcurrent trip are adjustable.
